DIRECTIONS

The charming borough of Kutztown is nestled in the Pennsylvania Dutch countryside of Berks County in southeastern Pennsylvania. Kutztown is midway between Reading and Allentown on Route 222. Kutztown University is located on the western end of Kutztown.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

from the Holiday Inn

Exit the Holiday Inn’s drive and turn left. Stay in the right lane (“To Reading”). Proceed on Schantz Road, past an industrial park and through the rolling countryside (watch for sharp curves), 4 miles to a stop sign at the intersection with Route 222. Proceed 4.2 miles on Route 222 to the Kutztown exit. This exit road will turn into Main Street. Proceed on Main Street, through town, and up the hill to the KU campus. At the sixth traffic light (after entering Kutztown), turn right onto Schaeffer Lane (across from Old Main). At the end of Schaeffer Lane (less than a half a block), veer to the right into the large parking lot. After parking, follow the signs to the Student Union Building and registration.

Take Exit 40 (formerly Exit 12), and proceed south on Route 737 approximately 6 miles to Kutztown. At the first traffic light, turn right on to Main Street. Proceed through town, and up the hill to the KU campus. At the fourth traffic light (in front of Old Main), turn right onto Schaeffer Lane (across from Old Main). At the end of Schaeffer Lane (less than a half a block), veer to the right into the large parking lot. After parking, follow the signs to the Student Union Building and registration.

from Reading
Take Route 222 North to the Kutztown Exit. Proceed on Kutztown Road (Old Route 222) to the campus. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Schaeffer Lane (across from Old Main).
